‘All the social systems have proved to have their flaws. Far-reaching structural changes are needed in all camps. But what about man himself?’
This is the basic question which Jens Wilhelmsen explores in this book. Long-standing friendships with Marxists in different countries, and a life given to the struggle to change men’s aims and attitudes, have given him material for a penetrating analysis. He discusses marxism, capitalism, bureaucratisation and violence, and suggests some original ideas on the way forward.
Wilhelmsen is a Norwegian who has spent a large part of his life abroad and contributes to publications in many countries. His wife comes from Switzerland and they live with their children in Oslo.
