Irene Prestwich of Tirley Garth

Irene Prestwich wrote this Memoir at the age of 87. She calls it a story of ‘property with a purpose’; for it tells how someone who could have had a life of ease and comfort chose instead the high road of God’s calling to be a re-maker of the world.

Tirley Garth with its gardens and grounds, stands in the Cheshire countryside, in the heart of England’s industrial North-West. For thirty years it was Irene Prestwich’s family home.
