The Ladder (Russian edition)

Peter Howard's Ladder, which was produced in 1960, is about an ambitious politician who aspires to become the leader of his country and the temptations he encounters along the way. But when he is close to worldly success, Christ on the Cross appears to him, and he is morally changed. The play was translated into Russian by the distinguished actor Lev Krugly.
