Pioneer of tourism in the Philippines
Dante Calma worked for the government. He travelled a lot and helped promote tourism in his country in the 1960s. He received an award from the Government during the mid 1990s for his work in establishing tourism called the Kalakbay award given by then President Fidel V. Ramos.
He took much responsibility for the work of Moral Re-Armament in his country and region.
He comes from an old family from the province of Pampanga.
