Ginny Wigan

Ginny Wigan (née Vickers) has worked on several publications that appear on this platform.

"Spin A Good Yarn" she wrote about her grandfather and the British textile industry, including the governance of Vickers Oils, a family-owned manufacturer of specialised industrial lubricating oils.

She was one of the editors of Paul Campbell’s book "A Dose Of My Own Medicine" as well as co-writing Clara Jaeger's book about her husband Bill Jaeger "Never To Lose My Vision".

She worked with Archie McKenzie on the book "Faith In Diplomacy" as well as, as she puts it "a few other things along the way ".  She co-authored "Bumpy the Grumblebee" with Alison Wetterfors, and illustrations by Lesley Purdy.

Music is another important factor in Ginny's life. Supporting their musically-gifted daughters is essential, but Ginny has herself performed together with many friends over the years.

She wrote the poem "His Brother’s Weight In Gold", underscoring some of the most urgent issues then and today. Her friend David Mills put it to music, and it was performed at an informal evening 1980.
