Oxford University Islamic Society in association with IofC and the Oxford Branch of the United Nations Association both screened The Imam and the Pastor film in February 2007.

On 21 February the Oxford University Islamic Society (OUISOC) in association with IofC presented the new film The Imam and Pastor for an audience of around 80 students and others. Dr Raghib Ali, Patron of OUISOC, opened the evening with a number of examples from Muslim history where Muslims had cause to be grateful to Christians. IofC was represented by Peter Riddell who introduced the film. The audience was very attentive, audibly responding to the film's humour. Musa Ali, a Nigerian journalist who had been one of the Muslim consultants to the film-makers spoke of his experience of saving a young Christian woman from attack by a group of young Muslim men during riots in his home town of Jos in 1991. This set the tone for reflective comments from the audience. One person said that it shows peace 'as active rather than passive'.

Then on 27 February, the Oxford Branch of the United Nations Association hosted a showing for around 60 members and others. Dr Neville Shepherd chaired the event, highlighting in his introduction IofC's Special Consultative Status with ECOSOC. Canon Ben Enwuchola, Anglican Chaplain to the Nigerian Community in Britain and one of the Christian consultants to the film-makers, spoke after the film. He had grown up in Kaduna and though he had had Muslim friends, he held a hatred towards Islam which has only more recently left him. Again the audience was extremely responsive and supportive to the film.
