An important first-hand account of the work of MRA in Germany in the early post-World War 2 years.

'Kenaston Twitchell is a graduate of Princeton and Oxford Universities. While taking his M.A. degree at Balliol College, he became one of the originators of the Oxford Group, later known by its program of Moral Re-Armament. He and his wife continued in this international action, working on five continents for over fifty years.

'The events recounted here focus on a change of ideological loyalty that took place in post-war Germany. It came about as a by-product of the fight for a free society, carried on by ordinary men and women who had found the secret of freedom in themselves.

'He is also the author of the award-winning essay The Great Seal of the United States.’
