Jean Brown has worked in the field of social change based on personal transformation for nearly 50 years with the international movement Initiatives of Change. British born, married to Australian , Mike Brown since 1975, she has 2 children and 5 grandchildren. With her work Jean has spent many years in India, the USA, SE Asia and Africa – most recently in South Sudan. She and Mike have been deeply involved in the Australian reconciliation movement, especially in the 1980s and 1990s.
Jean has been an Elder of IofC, an international coordinator of the women’s initiative, Creators of Peace, and is author of the Creators of Peace Circle methodology, now available in over 45 countries. The writer of numerous articles as well as the booklet ‘A Simple Guide to Remaking the World’.
