A further emphasis is given by (link is external)Canon B. H. Streeter, a friend and colleague of Buchman, in his book 'The God who speaks'. In it he assumes a belief in a divine creator, or God.

‘Quite apart from the Bible,’ he writes, ‘great thinkers like Aristotle reached a belief in a great Unseen Reality to which could be given the name God.’

A 46-page edition of Streeter’s book, abridged by Roger Hicks, was published in 1971 and remains relevant to this day. Read the 46-page edition on this page or (link is external)follow this link for the full version of the book.
